Just got a text that Gruden is sitting court side tonight.

Yup smart move on his part. Helps grow the rumors and creates more interest from others…

You know I think not hiring him is the right move at this time but **** it would be fun to watch him coach here

Question for Bucs fans who experienced Gruden as TB coach. Yes, it is well-known the dude can be a **** to rookies and so on, but how was the team under his guidance? I get he won a SB his first year, but it seems like he didn't do much after based on W-Ls. Do you feel like the guy was an awesome coach, or is he overrated? Is he popular due to his Chucky persona and TV personality, or were the Bucs actually a really well-prepared and functioning football team with Gruden running the show?

1.  His son is director of basketball ops at Stetson, the opponent

2.  He's been seen at USF basketball games in past seasons.

Nothing to see here...move along.

He coached a Raider team that should have been in the SB the prior year he coached (tuck rule) and they made it the year he left.  The team he inherited was aging and he was hired to get them over the hump and to a place Tony couldn’t due to the consistently poor offensive play before the window closed and he accomplished this.  The team was going to need to be retooled and he didn’t enjoy much success after that.  I am not sure this is the right pick but he would be entertaining as El Toro said and we wouldn’t suck IMO.

This is not a thing. It is just Gruden and his friends trying to rehab his public image, using USF in the process.
