There’s no way that when CJS repeatedly said, “We’re doing everything we know to do.” It was obvious that he couldn’t do the job.

I know there will be plenty of search related threads but couldn't resist sharing this one

This gives me the most hope I have had since CCS’ first year. Biggest difference if the fact that the University if taking athletics serious and they have demonstrated that. I have a renewed hope that brighter days are ahead!! Here’s hoping CJL comes back. Go Bulls!! 🤘

I just hope all those that weren't renewing will now reconsider.

We will. Just was discussing this with friends that we share tickets with. He pulled out his phone and told us.

To be fair we have not stopped rebuilding since CWT, so the proper phrase would be “the rebuild continues with another name on the plaque”, haha.

True, USF is building a reputation of perpetually being terrible at football.

It's weird when I read this...I honestly felt nothing at first.  I expected to be relieved or something.

Then I just kinda felt sad that things went this way.

I don't like "starting over" but it also doesn't feel like that because we never got started with this coach...bleh.

Another "most important hire in our history coming up"...God help us.

He did a good job of recruiting at Plant High School.

BRING BACK THE JIM

Please let it go.

He coached against MUCH different level of competition AND he is not allowed to return after lying to the Administration.

Lost cause... Buddy is never coming here. His HBCU team would woop our ass and he doesn't need the money. He can go straight P5.

Not so sure. He’s being mentioned at Auburn, but can you see those good ole boys turning their program over to him? He’s from Fort Myers, played at FSU. We’d be a great stepping stone for him to the right P5 job. You know that there are still plenty of people questioning if he’s ready to coach at that level. His ego may dictate that he won’t take anything less than P5, but we sure do make a lot of sense for a guy at this point in his coaching career.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
