I said in another thread, look at the Rays and Bucs. All three teams seem to be having injury problems.

More UC seemed to get injured than us. Of course, that is only an observation based on no facts, but I thought we looked as big as them.

When you play tough physical teams like BYU, Florida, and Cincinnati, you get more injuries. This is a fact. If we had played Howard 5 games in a row, we would have had less injuries. When you're going against an overmatched opponent, yes you can still have injuries, but they're a little less likely. Why, because the opponent is not as big, strong, or fast, so many of the collisions are less violent. You can also block them more easily, and you can avoid their tackles more easily, and when they do tackle you it's usually with less force. There is a reason most of their players got scholarship offers to Howard and not Florida. Sure, they have good players, but they have way less of them.

And what the deal with Horn? Did he reaggravate his hamstring vs ECU?

Maybe Kelly should make our schedule more realistic. Getting our teams bashed results in injuries and losses. Replace BYU UF and UL with teams like WKU, Southern Miss and Charlotte....we might have less injuries and one extra win. Going to lose like half our starters vs Bama next year at rate we are going. I like p5 wins but they aren't happening anytime soon. Edited October 10, 2022 by Bulls On Parade
