My diagnosis would be the firing of staff who passionately devoted themselves to building the program the right way and the disrespect of alumni and other supporters who also gave of themselves just as passionately.

Oh, and a whole bunch of administrators, players and coaches who left a lot to be desired.

I never really asked him if he did or not.  Hard to take him seriously at a tailgate with a wizard hat. HE may be the one guy that can help Jeff Scott find his magic in a bottle come to think about it. Maybe we need to get the Wizard a weekly interview and breakdown of USF Football to rally the masses to bend the knee to Jeff Scott.

Oh man, have him host a fundraising event or whatever, auction off some of his personal memorabilia, highest donor gets a box suite with Jim at a USF game. It’s an idea.

If they were to only want to use him as a fundraiser I would certainly hope he shows them the middle finger. 

I know people say that these things would never happen. But each day that passes or has passed over the last decade it becomes less and less likely there will be anything there.

He thought he’d actually hear from someone three years ago and of course did not.  No effort to make peace or truly be united start to finish to make the program, his baby, better.
