(Spurrier might win other ones that don't take into consideration academic improvements, public standing in the community, etc...)KL

The worlds different now. Did you start at DIII? No. You're in a group with UCONN, FAU and FIU. Congrats. UCONNS already won a bowl game though. On probation and partly his fault. He can deny as much as he'd like but now UCF fans must worry if Georgie's got a little bit of Lou Holtz in him- a hard nosed coach, that plays by his own set of rules, and leaves every school he coaches at in worse shape then when he started.O'Liar won COY at Gtech then proceeded to get them put on probation. Now that's a real great COY.

After all the ridiculous stuff you post on here?GT already said there was NO involvement by the coaches. It was an administration thing and that is all. GO said it best himself, "I get a list of who is eligible and game plan on that."Are you saying that Levitra knows everyones current grades and status in classes AT THIS TIME?No wonder you stay over here. We would eat you alive in the "pen".

You gotta understand...this is for consumption OUTSIDE of our bulletin board. Unless you really, really follow a given team, when their coach is nominated for an award, the first thing you do is look at last year's record compared to this years. Oh...broke the losing streak and going to a bowl game...well, he must have really turned the program around.

I provide them free of charge to you personally:http://www.11alive.com/sports/sports_article.aspx?storyid=72099http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/2005-11-17-gatech-probation_x.htmhttp://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/college/knights/orl-oleary2305nov23,0,2180288.storyHopefully you will be able to read them. You may have to register. This is the best part of these articles and discounts what you say happened. Not surprising:The Committee on Infractions' final report, issued last week, said a long-time registrar failed to keep up with NCAA academic regulations and that other academic personnel were poorly trained on monitoring of credits and continuing eligibility matters. In general, administrators improperly counted some credits. There were no accusations that any coaches in any sport acted improperly to secure players' eligibility. And add in the fact that the situation he came into was much worse than he expected last year.He has done a phenominal job. So has Joe Pa, Spurrier, and others including Leavitt.
