Leavitt didn't even make the list.  Granted, O'Leary did a fine job this year (against crap teams), but for Leavitt to not even make their list is a joke.

To whom it may concern,

Who is Jim Leavitt?

Thanks,

US Citizens

Who is the coach who has taken a school that had no football team in 1997 and surpassed everything UCF has ever done.

To whom it may concern,

We know of no such school.  We have heard of Central Florida but who is South Florida?  What has USF done that UCF hasn't?

Concerned,

US Citizens

Taken less time to reach a bowl? joining a BCS conference? not having an 0-11 season? from DI-AA to DI-A in four years? I don't know. I can't think of anything.

Taken less time to reach a bowl?

We had a conditional Bowl invite in 1998.  Sorry.

joining a BCS conference?

That is definitely one very big thing!

not having an 0-11 season?

I said something YOU have done that we haven't.  We did 0-11 all by ourselves!

from DI-AA to DI-A in four years?

That is a choice not something you accomplish.  UCF was only in I-AA for 5 years.

I don't know. I can't think of anything.

And most of the ones you thought of were inaccurate too.

Sorry.

I'll address you on the private board.  No need to embarass you in front of your brethren.  Not that they aren't already embarassed by you.  ;)

Weiss also played a schedule that makes yours look like a pop warner season.  Did you not see the USC game?

Your argument itself is retarded.  Yeah, his offense averaged 25 pts a game last season, but where did it get them?  6-6, a loss to Oregon State in a lesser bowl, losses to Pitt, BC, and BYU.  Enter Weiss, and hello BCS.

Sorry, the USC game alone trumps O'Leary for COY.  Everything else is just gravy for Weiss.

Weiss is doing a great job at Notre Dame, no doubt about that.  But for you to say that the USC game trumps O'Leary, well that statement speaks for itself.  You do remember that Notre Dame lost that game, right?

Weiss deserves to be nominated and maybe even win, but so does GOL.

Who woulda thunk O'Leary would be in the running after our game?!  I guess we woke them up.

Lets wait until after the season before making a decision on COY.
