O'Leary did a fine job this year.  But coach of the year?  No way.  Charlie Weiss, hands down.

O'Leary should be on the list, as should Leavitt . . . but O'Leary will be last when the voting ends.

Charlie Weiss and Steve Spurrier will be the finalists. O'Leary is only considered after the debacle of a season they had last year.

Weiss has had the benefit of an offense that averaged over 25 points a game last season and returned all 11 starters on offense.  Talk about a recipe for success for offensive production.

Weiss also played a schedule that makes yours look like a pop warner season.  Did you not see the USC game?

Your argument itself is retarded.  Yeah, his offense averaged 25 pts a game last season, but where did it get them?  6-6, a loss to Oregon State in a lesser bowl, losses to Pitt, BC, and BYU.  Enter Weiss, and hello BCS.

Sorry, the USC game alone trumps O'Leary for COY.  Everything else is just gravy for Weiss.

O'Leary did a heck of a job this year.  Eveyone laughed when he said getting to a bowl game was the goal at the beginning of the year.  My favorite is Joe Pa.  Ya just gotta love a guy 78 years old and with the same school forever making such a strong run this year.

Remember, the only reason GOL is being considered is because of the crappy coaching job he did LAST year. Any coach worth his salt gets at least ONE win out of that pathetic schedule they had ......

:'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
