    I'm ready to move on from BJ. I know he's been our best option over the past 4 years, but that thought makes this all the more depressing. Feels like we've been on a 4 year treadmill with BJ, ending up right where we started. No progress, no maturity, everything the same.

    who cares what Josh Freeman thinks or roots for? He has no allegiance to USF. He does not matter. Probably beter to worry about our team and what can be done to fix it rather than who is or isn't cheering for us.

    who was responsible for the hundred QB draw plays that were called? Each picking up a stellar 1-2 yards, risking injury to BJ, while our capable RBs stood idle? The only time we looked eficient on offense was when BJ would throw the quick outs to the receivers. It was there all night, and we refused to go to it.

    same mistakes last night that I saw from him his freshman year. The commentators want so badly (they did last year too) to talk about his maturity and improved decision making but they are still bewildered at how he's making the same young mistakes. How much consistency has BJ had in his QB coaching here? Under pressure and running out of the pocket, instead of throwing it away you throw into coverage. Red zone interceptions again at innoportune times. I will be happy when we start anew at the position next season.

    I would love that. Hope ths is true. If so, got to love the fact that DW is considering so many guys. Seems like he is eager to find a good fit for this program. Doherty got a bad ra at UNC. The guy is a great recruiter.

    He withdrew his name back when we were looking to replace Seth, and he pulled his name again this time. He doesn't want to come here for whatever reason.

    didn't Jarvis take a couple of his St John's teams pretty deep into the tourney? I remember the sqaud with ROn Artest was pretty strong.

    On that note, former coach Seth Greenburg has been pounding the hell out of the sports talk shows this week. I can't turn on the radio without hearing Seth on another show. He is making the rounds as always. He did do a stellar job with VT this year though.

    Can someone please give a 1 or 2 line background summary on these candidates? Maybe their most recent couple of coaching gigs. I don't recognize a couple of names on the list. Is Pete Gillen the former Virginia head coach?

    thanks for starting this thread, I loe these "where are they now" posts. Would be nice if we could track down whats going on with some of the other guys from Seth's era in similar threads. Would be interested. What ever happened with BB and Altron, they playing somewhere?

    Enough with the homer pics. We're not going to sign a D2 coach just because he coaches here in town. W're in the best **** conference in college basketball. I know our record stinks, but raise your standards.

    Matt Doherty, Steve Lavin, some of the other suggetsions on here were solid too. Forget Snyder, he was embroiled in a lot of NCAA violation rumors and hauled ass before it hit the fan. No thanks.

    I am with smazza, these times are a crock. I'll take field vision over speed any day of the week. Grothe isn't running a 4.3 but he is deadly with his vision.

    thanks to Coach Mac for his efforts. I applaude his class and dignity with which he ran our program. That said, this was absolutely the right move. I very excited that we have the opportunity to bring in a legitimate Big East coach. It can only get better right?
