  1. I've been sickened by our QB play the last few years, it is absolutely atrocious. PJ has given us nothing for 3 years, cut the cord already. How long are we going to waste time on this guy? Look at his stats. Stats don't lie.
  2. Looks sweet but $60 for a sweatshirt, ****? I think I'll pass, won't get much out of that during tailgates in Tampa. Shorts & tshirts for me. Sooooo happy to see us with the Nike memorabilia.
  3. I actually predict a drop in home attendance from last year. Our home schedule really isn't working with us. We have a home game on a holiday weekend (Labor Day) against a very small school, a Friday night game (so much for tailgating) and no Louisville, WVU, or other teams likely to be ranked. Plus UCF and FAMU traveled very well last year which factored into our home crowds. I just don't see it guys, hope I am wrong.
  4. So there is still free parking in the old Mall parking lot?  If there is I'll put a caveat that it is mostly college students. that lot was never free, unless I guess you got there so early that the lot attendees werent there yet. In years past it ha sbeen $10 to park. Although the Bucs have built on the mall lot, the parking spots right up against Himes remained unaltered, still available for use. Since spaces are more limited, I would expect to see a rate increase. For the Bucs preseaosn games they are charging $25 to park there no ****.
  5. Sileo is a giant blowhard. He is completely closeminded, doesn't listen to his callers, and only goes for that shock factor. I can't stand listening to the guy. I refuse to even tune him in anymore. Everytime I would give him a chance and tune him in he was talking one of 2 things: Barry Bonds not being on steroids, whatever, or Miami football dominance. What a douchebag. I wouldn't give any of his thoughts any credence.
  6. who was his cousin Altron Jackson, former USF Basketball player. I personally liked Altron, he was good for 20 every night. We always knew what we were getting. One of the leading scorers in USF history
  7. looooooooong time from now, but I like what I'm seeing. We need to continue to fill our schedule with BCS teams and get rid of these 1AA patsies. Some of our home games this season are a virtual waste of my ticket dollars.
  8. if they break out tasers, just go Mo CLarett style and come prepared with your bullet prof vest.
  9. UConn game, hands down. Blew a perfect chance to host USF's biggest game ever. That WVU game was such a let down the following week. Will always wonder how rockin' we would have had Ray Jay if that game was for the BCS.
  10. he should place a call to Marlyn Bryant and run the idea by him
  11. calling for walkons in the school paper usually isn't a precurser to a good season, I would think the contrary. Yes, we will see what happens Mike, but come on, this is frienking embarassing. Call me ignorant on this, but is it customary for a school to advertise for walkons in the school paper? Especially a school that is in a top notch basketball conference. I honestly don't know. Enlighten me.
  12. Beastie and Bulliever, why don't you guys just put on the gloves and duke it out?
  13. He admitted to being a newbie and was just trying to get some history on our program, I see nothing wrong with it. Although I have a feeling this thread will get out of hand, much like any other Seth thread.
  14. this is a joke. How many frieking injuries can one program sustain? Enough of this already. I feel so bad for this kid. He will never be the same. And for Mac, to recruit a kid and not have him physically able to play has to be extremely frustrating. I expressed my concern when Dennis bolted, that we are 1 or 2 injuries away from being in deep **** again with a depleted roster. Many of you brushed it off and said "big deal" we don't need him. Mac has no control over injuries, but he can't have defections every year. Our roster cannot absorb both injuries and defections; see the past 2 seasons. What a shame. Good luck in rehab CH.
  15. It was time for him to move on. I didn't hate Seth at all, I just grew tired of him. It became the same thing every year. You'd get you hopes up as we start out like 9-1 and then have it ripped out every year as we flopped in Feb-March and failed to produce in the post season. Seth had some VERY talented teams but they could never capitalize. I recall BB & Altron's junior year, some preseason publications had predicted us to be a Sweet 16 team; we failed to even qualify for the tourney that year. Some other recurring issues, free throw woes EVERY year, disciplinary issues, late season flops, didn't sit well with many.
  16. JoeB I DO recall the article you are referencing. I don't remember the publication but your summary sounds right on from what I recall.
  17. I'm with Herman. I can understand a casual college bball fan not knowing who SoJo is, but who the hell, in ATlanta nonetheless, doesn't know who Sheldon Williams is. ATL is right in the heart of ACC country. Sounds like the same goobers call the station up in the ATL that call 620 down here.
  18. This has been a long time coming. Hopefully SoJo starts a trend.
  19. Huge congratulations to SoJo. For once I wish we could all leave the crap of CRM sucks/CRM rules out of a basketball thread. This thread is to congratulate SoJo on a tremendous accomplishment. All Bull nation is proud of you SoJo. Wish some of you would take your agendas to another thread.
  20. I think I would rather go undrafted than be selected by the Knicks.
  21. No way he goes first round. I'm keeping my fingers crossed he gets his name called in the 2nd. Good luck SoJo
  22. ****, not bad. I'd like to see yours when you post the pic.
  23. Looks like PJ's stats, less about 10 TDs and we still manage to start him.
  24. Some of you guys are idiots. You find any reason to rip on kids that show interest and explain why we shouldn't want them here. If someone is interested in being a Bull, especially someone who can obviously help this program, why would we want to bash them? Glad you guys aren't doing our recruiting, we wouldn't be able to fill a roster because nobody would be good enough to wear the green and gold.
  25. With someone having trouble becoming eligible, I don't know that I'd want him running our offense. What's with these kids? Hit the books, then the field.
