If we get Lavin here we will need to hire a few more mop boys for the games. The oil runoff from his hair will cause even more injuries than the cursed Sundome floor alone. I think it sucks anytime they move it from a Saturday game. I don't care if it's a noon kickoff on Saturday, at least you can get out there to tailgate. Nothing like trying to rush to the stadium from work in Tampa Friday evening traffic. Hope we're not sacrificing the home crowd for some TV facetime.

hope it was worth it idiot. Now you can smoke out every Saturday night at 7pm this fall. We're really going to miss his play, he let our team down. Learn from your mistakes guys, come on.

all alumni should get in free until they actually draw a demand. The money they could secure in concessions and the long term benefits of larger crowds would dwarf the losses at the ticket box.

That's about as anticlimactic as BB and Altron's press conference after their junior years when they formally announced that they would be coming back for their senior year. Our receivers have got to be excited to see what they can do with a legit running threat back there with Grothe.

do any BE coaches have votes in the coaches poll? There is something very wrong with us not getting a single vote in that poll. Happy to see the AP is paying attention.

what makes us theeee program in the BE over say WV and maybe even Rutgers with their COY Schiano?

I couldn't agree more Terry. I was thining the exact same thing. IMO, Mike Jenkins performance last season got Trae the opportunities this year. I expect to see BOTH of these guys playing on Sundays. We are very lucky to have them back there.

He was extremely honest, no "coach speak." Very refreshing to hear from a sports figure for a change. Talked about how much the WVA win meant because he could see how happy his players were. Said he has not spoken with any of the schools rumored to be after him, then jokingly said if he was, not like he could confirm that anyways. On the team, talked about how much the team, and Grothe continued to progress as the season went on. Said PJ was class act in supporting Grothe. He didn't think we adequately filled the void left by Andre Hall this year. Thought we played horribly the first 2 games. Ian said the season obviously came to life when Matt took over, Leavitt agreed. On the future, it was mentioned how young the team was. Leavitt was excited but mention us losing Nicholas, St. Louis and how much them meant. Spoke VERY highly of Selvin and Josh Julmiste. Said Selvin "gets it" and is special, said once Josh "gets it" he will be unstoppable as well. Said the WVU win helps recruiting. Was actually our recruiting during the call made from his cell. Said he takes character very much into account when going after kids. Overall it was a great interview, he said a lot, and was honest. Ron and Ian loved him and were complimentary of our team and Coach Leavitt.

thankfully Grothe is ok, whew! If PJ were to play against Syracuse we would lose.

I root for all BE teams when they are not playing us of course. Playing in a better conference makes out program more attractive to recruits. I am proud to be in the BE this year with 2 top 5 teams. The trickle down effect of publicity this conference is getting is making its way down to us too.

Because I've been to all of the other noon kickoff games in our history and the turnout is atrocious. Unless all the fans came dressed as red seats I didn't see many people there. I'd be interested to see attendance figures from noon kickoff games of the past.

totaly sucks. I hope we enjoy pulling <30K at home 2 weeks in a row. can someone post the attendance figures from our other noon games of the past? I've been to all of them and the turnout has been atrocious. What's the point of being on TV at noon if all we do is show empty seats? The effects on tailgating definitely suck too. Who cares if Bucs play at 1 this year, I go to those games too and tailgating is much better for 4 pm kick offs. 2 noon games, a Friday night game.....this home schedule has been the worst I can remember.
