    gurly, right on! I have MANY friends that don't attend the games but would if it were more affordable. The product on the floor does not yet justify the ticket price. I think a more attractive ticket structure would attract the more casual fan. i.e. something like the Devil Rays are going to attempt.

    Didn't Peyton have like half of our 6 TD receptions this year? The only route ever saw him run was the jumpball fade to the corner of the endzone. I'm sad to see Simpson go. I liked him back there on returns. He was a threat to take t the distance every time. Sheriff, as for BB...I think the comparison to Peyton is legit in that BB never realy progressed while here. His first season was his best. The talent was unquestionable, the work to improve was suspect.

    Pros: I love that we play our toughest games at the end of the year. Barring injuries, we should be the most prepared to pla those games when they come. Scheduling, sans another hurricane, do not leave a month + inbetween home games. Cons: I do not like seeing us play such a weak OOC schedule. Nice to see UNC in there but that is negated by McNese and FIU. I know teams like UF and Miami play cupcakes but I think thats just as silly.

    from what I recall, it was VERY slim pickens. I remember the assistant from UF, that would eventually withdraw from the race, and I believe and assistant from Mich State. It was not a very enticing job at the time apparently.

    BigShoop Im with you and the others, this guy has to go. I haven't been posting much lately specifically because of this guy. Its getting old that every thread he starts he reponds to incessantly with the same takes over and over.

    Mac is entitled to his 4-5 years to rebuild a program, just as would any coach we hired, big name or not. Seth had 7 years to do this and that's why I called for his head 2 years before he left. Am I pleased by Mac progress? Absolutely not, he is progressing MUCH slower than I would have expected and preferred. By the looks of the program now i do not think he will have us where we need to be in 2 years and I expect him to get whacked, but regardless, the guy signed a contract and deserves the time to prove it.

    Anyone but PJ. 6 TD's on a season is completely unacceptable no matter what type of offense we are running. If PJ switches positions it should be to Left Out

    not worth the 1 year on the field if we can develop an underclassmen longterm at that position instead. bad move on letting our kicker go.

    beastie, I was thinking the same thing. At 205 he would be the Gerrick Morris of Defensive Ends. This kid either needs to add about 40 pounds or switch positions. He is borderline too light to even play LB let alone the line.
