Aresco screwed us as usual. They pay $18m over 14 years! Just embarrassing for the conference office to negotiate such a poor deal while having strong leverage.

So this means USF should get around $5.6 mil from the departures. I wonder what we will spend it on?

That’s obvious - additional contract extensions for coaches who do not deserve it😊

With these juggernauts set to join the AAC football season for 2023, I am sure that we will soon be hearing from VPMK that the contract for CJS has been extended another 10 years, with 5.6 million guaranteed up front

Gotta make sure that we have that long term consistency in place in-order to deal with this stellar crop of new competition

Obviously we should invest it all into FAU, you can't be your best without lifting up those around you in order to have a rival

So if we leave the conference in 5 years do we not get the payout in the last 9 years of that deal?

Does anyone really think the AAC will still be around in 14 years? 😂😂

You can's spell "we are so screwed" without Aresco, but in all fairness to him you cant expect fortitude from someone that is supposed to lead a conference made up of people that have so little fortitude that they remain in this conference.

Immediately what I was thinking and answer likely is "yes".  Old boy Aresco doing some thinking this time.

I've been saying it for a year now. Shut the program down.

We tried. We failed. No need to invest more into a sunk cost
