With the extension a done deal and a trickle of players starting to choose escape there might be this: MK goes out and shops a co-HC with some chops. First year would be pricey of course but you bring in someone who could take over the following year-depending. If CG doesn't buy into it then...the axe. Somebody has got to come into this program that can actually build a winner, an offense, a recruiter. CG is starting to remind me of holtz. I think he enjoyed living in the Tampa area boating, fishing, golfing and the football team was secondary.

a co_HC would be even more disfunctional than we are now. So it may actually be possible. lol

The good news is, we've got a huge recruiting class coming in next year to help with the rebuild.

USF needs to figure out ways to get people to the games besides relying on the Tampa Bay area's love of driving to Temple Terrace to watch a ****** team.

Start with the students, a wild student section can do wonders for atmosphere and kickstart other people to give the games a chance. Give professors incentives to give out extra credit if students go to the games. Start some tradition where the Fraternity and Sorority with the best attendance for the previous season get some weird incentive like painting a Bull statue. Any student that attendances every single home game gets to be on the court for warmups on the last game. Etc.

Just feels like we need some quirky things to help attendance as long as we're playing basketball in a G5 conference.

Here are some pictures of those still with the program as of today.

South Florida signee Ryan Conwell continues to stack post season honors.

Made over 2 threes a game at a 36% clip last year. Thats pretty steady for a high schooler.

Also mentions we have Dok Muordar visiting campus this week and sources like our chances. He's a 6'11 big man with offers from LSU and Oregon State, he is a shot blocker on defense and can rip the three.

Move five of the games to downtown Tampa. We actually play well there.

I guess one thing they could try is to not suck and maybe make some shots on a regular basis. Winning I guess would be too much to ask

I think we need a new coach.  CBG has proven that he can't win here.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
