Since they only seem to want pledges over a 5 year period from donors I wonder how that would factor into financing the stadium. Would they only count 15 million? Pretty sure a naming right gift of that size can be worked out over a longer period of time. Would think that we could have a better deal than what SDSU received.

I'll look in the seat cushions and my daughter's change jar (a/k/a the "college fund") and get back to you.

I clearly don't have the means to make a transformational gift, but we will make a "stretch" gift and you all should consider, as well. Think about a five-year commitment and it's doable. My wife and I just completed our five-year gift (in three years) to the Honors College, and we've also committed to a significant estate gift for student scholarship(s). That's how this university becomes great - its alumni give back. 1

The more the team wins, the more people will go to the stadium , buy merchandise, and donate to the football OCS and athletic program. No one wants to finance a losing product or business. It is time for the athletic department to start proving to what fans we have left that they are worthy of our dollars. 2
