The easiest way to increase the donations for an OCS is finishing the IPF and start winning on the field. The more the team wins, the more people will go to the stadium , buy merchandise, and donate to the football OCS and athletic program. No one wants to finance a losing product or business. It is time for the athletic department to start proving to what fans we have left that they are worthy of our dollars.

The IPF looking absolutely kick ass will help too. All these years of talking about it, then spending 25 million on it just to turn out meh may kill peoples optimism that their dollars will be put to good use with the stadium too.

When the campaign is announced, I'm in - as I expect you all will be. I clearly don't have the means to make a transformational gift, but we will make a "stretch" gift and you all should consider, as well. Think about a five-year commitment and it's doable. My wife and I just completed our five-year gift (in three years) to the Honors College, and we've also committed to a significant estate gift for student scholarship(s). That's how this university becomes great - its alumni give back.

This is me... I will be making a stretch gift on a monthly basis.

Baylor did a brick campaign recently, wasn't sure what I was expecting but they aren't that pricey.

Haven't we done brick campaigns for most of the on campus athletics facilities, with the notable exception of the IPF? I know I did one for The Muma .....

Um, have they even announced an official fund raising for the stadium yet?  If so, I haven't heard about it.

If it is on the Southern Border, I will assist in funding that project.

Great reminder that USF has plans that can be paid monthly for a larger dollar commitment.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
