I know this is from another site . . . but figured I'd share.

The extension basically guaranteed Gregory would be back unless he hit or killed a player

That extension was inexcusable.  Kelly was either lazy or grossly incompetent.  Absolutely no need to give it.  Gregory wasn’t going anywhere and it was certainly not deserved.  If it costs the school more money then Kelly should have to pay it.  Completely awful.  These college AD’s make the worse business decisions in the history of business decisions.

Been stated before that the extension was agreed upon after the 24 win season and CBI tournament. Granted that was an extremely soft schedule, but it looked good enough and better than today.

Not following, he was extended this year and not back then?  If they agreed on an extension 3 years ago then he would have received an extension 3 years ago and not recently?  The CBI was magical, as I stated before it was not the big dance nor the small dance, it was like a break dance competition on the corner of Nebraska and MLK but at least we won it all.

I don’t follow MBB as much as football.  To those that are more connected, is there anything remotely optimistic goin in to next season?   High profile recruits coming in, etc?  Or are we to just hope that the current crop of players and coaches improve?   I would guess that there will be huge turnover again.   I pity the ticket rep that’s got to sell this product.  Hey but at least we have stability.
