He probably wouldn’t but can’t hurt to try. I know hiring a Rick PITINO or Bobby Huggins never sit well with our boosters because of their baggage but I feel the only way USF mens hoops will succeed is to hire a slam dump winner. We tried just about everything else.

On this we agree Bull Daly. USF basketball needs to at least “try” to go big. I am tired of this ****** assistant hires:

Yes sir! Never know if you never ask. I know this is a pipe dream as USF already missed the opportunity years ago after he was fired at Louisville. PITINO was spotted many times attending USF game watching in Yuengling Ctr. So something may have been going on. Maybe the Florida weather will help lol

I agree. Why waste another  3 years or so replacing  Gregory with an unknown? Unless we see PITINO at the USF games watching as a spectator I say we wait another season.

Pitino was in the crowd the last time I went to a USF basketball game vs. Cincinnati, I think three years ago.  Opportunity knocked.
