We always knew Urban was slimy, it has now been confirmed.

He is a piece of crap going back to UF.

Let's get em all.  Urb as HC, Petrino and Kiffin can be co-OC, and then a portal to hell will open in our shiny new OCS.

I think you and a few others are falsely equating two very different things. I would venture to say the ratio of successful "nice guy" coaches who have experienced sustained success is much higher than "unlikable" coaches. I'd even go out on a limb to say there are a lot more unsuccessful "unlikable" coaches as opposed to successful ones.

I don't want short term success. I want a legitimate G5 or where ever we end up, dynasty. I want this thing built right. I don't want success that is only sustainable due to 1 player or 1 coach. I believe CJS is truly doing something worth the time and effort.

Trying is the key word. Let's hope we have improve drastically . I'm pro winning

If the time comes when it appears that CJS isn't going make it here (now isn't that time and it's not defensible logically to say it is) I wouldn't be against him if he's available and wants to come here .... but need a couple of years to get that Jaguar stank on him.

agreed

who wouldnt want urban meyer as your school's head coach?

Can we get Dennis Erickson as recruiting coordinator as well?

Since this is a pipe dream thread, we could probably dig-up Woody Hayes to be strength and conditioning, with Bear Bryant as the diversity officer

Just prop them up against a heater, give them some smelling salts and we are good to go! 🤘

He is just hanging out in the Missouri Valley Conference waiting for a call

I am sure that he would be happy to come to Florida, where the weather is warm, the motorcycle paths are abundant and the potential passengers plentiful

I've got a funny story about that name.  If I remember I'll pass it along tomorrow.  Just a quick drive by on here this evening.

Will give you the short version.  Was in L'ville for a bourbon event. Standing at a small high top when a couple of young guys were looking for a spot to eat. My wife and I asked them to join us. Figured they were L'ville students or grads. Start chatting and told them we always loved the L'ville fans. But also said how we didn't like their coaches for football and MBB. Yep, one of them was Petrino's kid.  Tried my best to moonwalk my way out of it but it was awkward. BTW, they did stay and the subject changed.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
