Losing Davis hurts but we had  lots of transfers coming in  over the last two years that should be able step up like Thorton, Williams. Jones, and Hill. I also feel like we have had a lot of injuries in the secondary and wonder if it is bad luck, bad conditioning, bad strength and injury prevention training, bad tackling techniques being taught, or just a bad streak of the injury bug. Something is going on back in the secondary for sure though.

Hoping Will Jones II & Ray Thornton III lives up to the hype.

He's in the group designated "defensive back"

Thought so. Brad's list doesn't look quite as bleak when you add him ...

When will we get an actual depth chart? Kind of bummed to see “let it play out” for a third season in a row with the QB situation.

hopefully some young guys can step up in the secondary. I counted 7 Scott DB recruits entering their 2nd or 3rd season that haven't really made in impact. These guys can't all be misses

Ben Knox, AJ Hamilton, Dequan Stanley, Jalen Herring, Jaelen Stokes, Tavin Ward, Jordan Blackmon

To be fair only  a few have made an impression on the field worth while since cjs has been here.

Didn't we convert Jordan Smith from QB to Safety last year? I hope buddy has a change of heart. He has a way better chance of playing safety than QB.
