I hope you are wrong too. If Spencer is brought back for 2022, I will have no hope for the defense.

3 years of the same coach and both coordinators would really give this team no excuses for next year. bowl game or bust

Hearing Spencer defend himself and shine light on what's happening with the defense helps offer clarity.  I'm willing to offer mercy on my end.

Spencer seems knowledgeable and knows the issues but the results speak for themselves. I think he gets another year but if he don't jump to the top half next year, the issue is him not the depth and players.
