A straight up retro uni would've been nice rather than a modernization of the past.

But I do like the way robo goat looks on the helmet tho.

Anything regarding the complete uniform?

THROWBACK: USF will don helmets with the retro “Robo Bull” logo the Bulls wore for the first seven seasons of the program (1997-2003). With a nod to the modern, it will be oversized gold on white, with the bull eye in red. USF wore an all black logo on gold for its first seven seasons.

These white helmets with the Gold Robogoat are awesome.  I too would like to see the uniforms as throw backs.  Our new uni looks weird with that helmet but I'm OK with it for one week.  Go Bulls, Beat Houston!

This feels like one of those times where they'll warm up in an uninspiring uniform and then come back to the field in a full throwback. The team normally shares the uniform combo by now and its absence is what's put this in my head.

Seems worthwhile and would be a diversion for fans.  Talking about anything instead of "how bad we are" is a welcome diversion.

This is how I remember it.  They were warming up in the traditional gold (with the black U).  They went into the locker room and each of them had a white helmet at their locker.  They were super surprised and pumped.  (For those of you young folks, that was back in the day where not one single Bulls fan had a doubt about our ability to roll a team like Memphis.)

Wasn’t there a game in the Chuckles regime where the players came out for warm ups in one uniform and then changed for the game.  IRC this was the game where he blamed our usual poor performance on the uniform distraction.  What a clown!

I think Chuckles blamed a loss on wearing black uniforms.
