We were successful when we ran - at one point averaging over 7/ypc. We literally have the backs and the field conditions to run all over a team like ECU... and we deferred to the arm of a third string freshman QB time and time again. Insanity.

Then they started throwing more and running less. We had a lead going into half and started passing more with a freshmen QB in the rain. Why did we not run more and pass less to start the lead? WE were averaging over 5 yards per carry on the ground. Run until they stack the line and hit them with screens , slants, or PA every 3rd or 4th play. IF we want to win, we need to play to the strengths and run the **** ball more. We run well but try to be a passing offense. The media that is interested in USF, fans, and university are giving CJS too much slack for another loss in another WINNABLE game. Would like to see him start reveling in victory but appears that is too much to ask.

Wet conditions, sophomore backup qb, perfect conditions to run the ball. Only an idiot decides to start calling passing plays.
