Wow, interesting.  At least someone is starting to tell the story.

Unfortunately that "someone" is a random disconnected journalist in Boston with no actual connection to the situation.

I like that he picked USF (maybe a dig at their "rival" UCF?) but the guy is delusional. Yeah, UConn can really draw... when they're good... and when the visitor is a national powerhouse... and when there's not 100 inches of snow... and when...

Not to mention he made a really weak case for both schools.

" UConn has shown in the past the ability to sell out its football stadium - particularly when A. The team is good; and B. The visiting program is good. Head football coach Bob Diaco has the program headed in a winning direction as it jumped from 2-10 in 2014 to 6-6 in 2015, and obviously if the Huskies were to enter the Big 12, there would be a prominent program in East Hartford every other week. "

" As for the rest - Cincinnati, Houston, Memphis and Central Florida just don't have the cache of a UConn "

I hope they put this guy in charge of their sales pitch.

I think this is should make the presentation for sure!

Think how well we would be doing if we skipped Skip!

Actually, if presented correctly, those figures could be even an more impressive presentation if done right:

"Gentlemen, if I may point something out. Those 5 year attendance figures included 3 of the worst years in the history of USF football"

.... and of course, we could take the low road and point out that other schools', ranked lower than us, 5 year attendance figures included some of the best in their history.

LOL, yea, "Sorry our numbers were crappy, we were in a rough patch.  What's that?  We they were still higher than everyone else's?  Really?"

Triple B should be in the meeting! Love it!

Also how many top 25 teams came to Ray Jay in that period? Maybe 5?
