Starting to see some more Bulls Gear / Stickers / Plates over here on the East coast. Hopefully that trend grows. It is a easy 3hr drive cross state to get to a game.

I've noticed them everywhere around Ocala lately. I was at a stoplight the other day and there were 3 other cars around me that had USF license plates.

The big reason I think UCF is often mentioned as a BIG 12 expansion candidate is not so much the quality of its athletics or academics or large enrollment, but simply because it is in Orlando and so many people across America only think of Orlando when they think of Florida cities.  Orlando has Disney and the 2nd largest convention center in America and Orlando is such a huge destination point in Florida that it's the only city in Florida many people across US think of....everywhere else in Florida to them is the Everglades!

We actually have more alumni support

http://www.centralfloridafuture.com/story/news/2015/10/14/fewer-ucf-alumni-donate-uf-usf/73944206/

At the most recent Board of Trustees meeting, it was announced that UCF receives donations from approximately 3 to 6 percent of alumni. With an alumni base of 250,000, that means only between 7,500 and 15,000 donate to their alma mater.

At the University of South Florida, established in 1956, 9 percent of the approximate 296,000 alumni — about 26,700 — make financial donations to their alma mater, said Bill McCausland, USF’s Alumni Association executive director.

He's got good points.  Also wish we had someone use their platform to support USF as a regional asset.

Governor should at least throw a plug for the I-4 corridor, or is he being stifled by the FSU/UF mafias?

Great article!  I certainly hope this is part of our presentation.  I'm getting the feeling that if the Big 12 goes in to Florida, it will be to only select one university which makes separating ourselves from the clowns critical.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."
