They made football a priority because one, needed a place to play and two, were trying to get to a higher level. We already had a top notch place to play and were at the level they were aspiring to. They ultimately got to the higher level because of hitting on the right coaches. We didn't go with them, back to that level, because we didn't hit on coaches. It is time for us to get an ocs but not having one is not the reason we are where we are...

Exactamundo.

FSU cry baby just suing because they don’t have the money of the SEC and Big10. Honestly kind of pathetic.

Exactly lol. Bad look for FSU. They went from being in talks of a national championship run to being a bunch of babies because of the power conference & so called playoff snub situation. Now both the NCAA & ACC are giving them some medicine. I feel bad for the FSU fans as they are going through times. They wasted their time & money on the Orange Bowl. All we hear Is that they gave up on college football. Pathetic!!

Somehow they have $80 million lying around to pay a coach who has only won 1 ACC title.

Wow. That's quite the difference in the going rate for an AAC title.

They made football/athletics a priority period.  The OCS was just a part of that commitment, it was not the end all be all.  And programs don't "hit" on 3 straight coaches by accident.  I believe that if CSH had the commitment to football that ucf made, we would have "hit" on him too

Litigation is really just an inevitable part of the modern-day college football realignment process.  Seems no one likes the process but they all want to taste more $$$$$.

I personally think it would be hilarious for them to go through all of this, pay someone over a $100m to get out of the ACC and the only invite comes from the Big 12.

There is no way they do this without knowing they have a home.
