USF, UCF, Cinci, Houston, SMU, Memphis. We'll just have a different logo on the jerseys.

The divisions are denoted by color on the Sidelines Graphic: East: USF, UCF, West Virginia, Cincy, Memphis, KSU, Kansas West: Houston, SMU, TCU, Baylor, Texas Tech, OK St., BYU, Boise I have to say, this would create a pretty balanced conference. There really aren't any "bad" programs in the west. USF (currently) and Kansas (since about 2009) would be the only "weak" programs in the East. I think going to 16 and doing a large GoR is the way for them to go. They will continue to remain the most vulnerable power conference, but 16 teams gives them some room in the event of a raid from "The Alliance"

Also, that conference would be a difficult as Basketball conference.

I'll believe it when I see it, but I will say that if the Big 12 is looking at SMU, that pretty much eliminates any other team from the West from getting an invite. They would be looking at teams east of Texas to balance out the divisions and, out of the available G5s, we are still the most attractive given school size, market size, academics, overall athletics, and Florida recruiting. They won't want UCF out on an island long term.

There would be a lot of money and political clout with this composition also.
