What are the odds that the AAC gives BYU and Boise a call now that the Big XII is no longer in their future?

Only if the networks tell AAC comish that all schools would make more $ collectively.

Personally I'd welcome Boise, San Jose State, San Diego State and hell why not being lowly old Eastern Washington University up to FBS too.

The American should approach Army again. Yes they've said no in the past but, they are in a better place now. They can field a competitive team with the new regulations in place. Get Army and Air Force and we're set.

It makes sense for a West Coast resident's perspective, but that's about all it makes sense for.

Boise no way. CSU maybe, if Air Force joins. Does Portland State play football? Maybe the lobo, Aggies, or wolf pack. Neutral site games with Nevada in Vegas?

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
