Does white smoke mean they've picked the teams or does black smoke mean they've picked the teams?

If that falls through, Houston is toast. And Houston better hope like heck that the B12 makes a decision soon, otherwise, they are going to lose Herman and have to go spend big $$$ on his replacement to prove to the B12 that they are serious about their program. If they get left out then with a high paid coach who doesn't have the same success as Herman, it's a long climb back to the top... maybe they can give Holtz a chance to kill their program, that would be fun.

Herman is making $3 million but would be bumped to $5.5 million for two year if they go to the Big 12. LSU might have to fork over more dough to get him if that happens. USF just needs to win the AAC. To any of you whiners that didn't show up to watch your Bulls against the 'Noles, the pregame environment was the best I've experienced at Ray Jay in years. People will show up to support the Bulls, we need to convert more of those people into season ticket holders, donors, and fervent tailgaters. (This could be why South Florida has gained some buzz the past few weeks.) Lots of what if's regarding the Big 12 and its inaction

Whom should I believe?
