I am not convinced that people will come out in droves even if we are winning. There are so many factors that come into play (much of which has already been discussed ad nauseam)

I was giving our fans and the area the benefit of the doubt but I hear ya.

What fans have we developed post Jim. Hell, even during it they just assumed people would come back.

I recall some very good crowds w/ Coach Taggert and Q.

. . . The crowd there looked pretty light (according to Jim Louke on radio as well) and this was for homecoming and the team on the verge of being ranked. . .

Posted attendance was 23k in a stadium that seats 32k and it looked empty

Conversely, USF posted 29k against FAMU and the lower bowl at RayJay is probably 45K - our fill rate for FAMU  (fans in seats) looked much better than SMU had yesterday

Hey, Tripp...

I just saw your invite for coffee the next time I'm back up north.  Thanks, I'd like that.  I couldn't tell you back in February why I was traveling through your area, but I guess it's OK to now...I was moving Jim from Boca to Dallas.  I finally get him at a school with a stadium that is less than 10 minutes from my house and he up and changes jobs moving 1,300 miles away.  Well, it will pay off because SMU is about to explode on the national football scene.

Wait until you see that Tulsa crowd in two weeks. I may be the only one there,
