I just think bringing it up when the plan is to eventually have a plan is a bit tone deaf to the history of the idea.

I certainly see where you are coming from.

I'll be happy to see your reaction when we begin moving forward with it.

I think they needed to say something even if this was a kick in the pants to change some politics behind the scenes.

You should put out feelers to me for a week as I’m sure my reaction would be quite different from one moment to the next, but mostly I think my feelings will be dictated by what exactly the plan is, how realistic I find that plan, and how realistic I believe our path towards relevance is at that time.

I'm not part of those discussions, but once we know and can share we definitely will.

I cannot believe I forgot Jay Stroman. He is also very key to this project.

I heard this a couple months ago before Currall left.

We'll put a pucCam® on his monitor to capture the terrifying glee.

Thanks for sharing information John.  Also, I don't see why anyone would want to or need to wait for a formal way to donate to an OCS.  The link for the IPF donation is still functioning.  The more we do in the present, the better.

I know you and I had this conversation at lunch last month.

We finally have the right people in the right places to get this done.

Maybe, I think it definitely made some people on here excited. Most people I have discussed it with irl dismissed the idea as more USF athletics doing USF athletic things and I think it contributed to the frustration and disillusionment. The ipf was a real tangible reason for excitement I don’t see how a new idea without a plan added to that.

I certainly understand everyone's pessimism based on our past whenever the OCS was a topic.

There is going to be a realistic plan for the OCS. I can't tell you exactly when that will roll out, but it will be rolled out, so that those interested in helping with that project can do so.

I've been here a long while and I don't think I have ever heard the Board of Trustees Chairperson ever talk about an OCS the way it is being discussed now.

I don't have as strong a group of my campfire as I have in the past, but I have heard the site is "pretty much" chosen and it is not the 4 originally speculated back in 2017.

Just what I hear around my campfire. I have not heard any time table.

Go BULLS !!!

I have to dust off that old feasibility study to see where the 4 sites were.

I only remember 2 of them.

Yeah, I won't lament again until they bring up the Sun Belt and C-USA teams and then tell us how good the conference is.

Our P6 sticker needs to go away and the Medium 12 needs to have a similar P5 for that cluster.

Maybe we could go with P 5.25 or  P V.IIV**in Roman numerals just to screw up the big guys in the P5. (** subject to change by language scholar or monk) but you get the jest.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
