@John Lewis can you clarify if the football center phase II funds (20m) will be folded into the OCS fund? Or does VPMK want to collect these separately?

I believe that the OCS will be part of phase II.

I noticed the article gave a nod toward Rhea Law who is the interim President. His athletic vision is in alignment with MK and CJS. This is a positive note to me.

I can't help but wonder if the absence of a president let Jon and Will get a little bold here and throw this out there. Basically now if you want the president job good luck walking this back. That's my inner machiavelli thinking, perhaps.

Cup holders

I demand that the new stadium not have cupholders just to shake up everyone's current perception of reality.  And their drinks.

I happen to know from sources within the program that USF will have an OCS sometime within the next millennia. Stay tuned!

I don't know....   I'm pretty much attached to the scowl...  Maybe when USF Athletics chooses to honor him for the portion of his life he gave to the program...  then maybe I guess.

Yes you have struck upon a thought that in reality..needs to happen. MK, CJS, et al need to think long and hard on this one. CJL and of course LS were the guys. Without them we prob would have had nothing. USF has embraced this "let's all be inclusive and considerate" atmosphere. Maybe, forgive and forget would fit in there somewhere for CJL. Once all of us original folks are gone it may never get done. Twenty-five years of football is being recognized maybe CJL could be included in that tribute for future generations, there is a lot at USF to thank CJL for even if it was a flash or a short moment. I think he has been spanked for his "possible" wrongs long enough. I think this conversation should be part of the new facility conversation.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
