We sailed the ship in order to have the opportunity to see how many years we can go without winning an FBS game. As for fans we would gain, probably less and less with every passing year and as for who we would lose they left long ago rather than reap the fruits of their ideas. Regarding time passing. I think two years ago would have been better, but it would have been too soon prior to strong failing miserably. I liked the idea of Jeff Scott but he does not bring the energy like Leavitt and Willy.

Being married in a mansion instead of a 1000sf 2-1 would probs make it easier. 5 minutes ago, smazza said: you arent being fair leavitt was there for the birth of the program.there was so much excitement and optimism this was leavitt's baby It will always be his Baby. WT made a pitch for his old job when CS hit the road prior to CJS. He did burn his bridge at USF and at Oregon and FSU then burned his bridge. I wondered at the time if he had been humbled?? CJL ?? I think he scares some of the more docile folk although, he may have calmed also as the years went by. BUT...we have a fresh new guy who has never been a head coach before so.....we is what we is for now.

In all seriousness, Rutgers just brought back Greg Schiano back. Imagine if Jim would have signed that contract to go to Alabama back in 2007? How different would everything be in college football today?

Meh. I'm really holding out to see some coaching improvement by FAMU and BYU. I don't think any amount of coaching will prepare this DL to be run on by UF on Saturday. I'm hoping to be wrong, but we lose another one in the trenches.
