He is the only coach that cared about this progrum.

He took USF to the glory days with a trailer. Giving him the IPF he will make us great.

talk about it.

I like this idea.

But first:

  1. When CJS wins his first FBS game, we need to give him a raise and a 5 year extension so no P5 team "steals" him.  He was co-OC at Clemson when they were good, after all.
  2. Then when we let CJS go after year 3 to go in "another direction," we will have to pay him off for the next 5 years (or whatever is left on his contract) in addition to whatever new coach we hire.

It's the USF way.

(no I don't really want this scenario to play out).

At this point Jim might be the only guy that would want to come into this dumpster fire.

He wanted too, during the search that led to CJS.  Not sure if he does today.

We don’t have many shots left in the chamber, but would he even be willing to come back? How many donors would we gain? How many would we lose?

I think too much time has passed for it to be as possible or impactful as it once could have been. We sailed the ship in order to have the opportunity to see how many years we can go without winning an FBS game. As for fans we would gain, probably less and less with every passing year and as for who we would lose they left long ago rather than reap the fruits of their ideas.

...and their disagreement would mostly be only ego-related as they proved to be on the wrong side of history.
