Some more than others ....

That's really is it in a nutshell. The time spent on this has been a ******* joke ...... but also a nice little time killer between seasons.

What else were we supposed to talk about? Skippy was told to beat Florida in his first conference, without skipping a beat he quipped back that’s why he was here. Shockingly enough just saying it in a press conference didn’t really amount to anything and even more shocking is that Skippy has the second most impressive resume of all of our coaches. The time has come to do something and until that thing is done you can’t really expect for people to talk about more than your record says you are. If I didn’t want people talking about my losing I would consider trying to win a single game, but that’s just how I roll.

Nothing. What part of it was a nice little time killer did you not understand? A lot of things that can be succinctly put in a couple of sentences are tiredly drawn out on here, beaten to death and are a ******* joke and that was a perfect example …….. they are a staple of most message boards

Well Scott is recruiting at the same level as every other coach at USF. Hopefully he can develop at Jim level or better.

So what you're saying is, we're about to have the second coming of the second most impressive coach in our history??

Sweet!

What other programs had a first year coach last year after firing their coach in 2019?

It'd be interesting to compare.

If he had performed the opposite of his results there isn’t a single person that would feel that way, the only reason last year is dismissed in it’s entirety is because CJS failed completely and entirely and that didn’t match the hope people have for him. Had we beat Notre Dame instead of losing by all of the points people would have been calling for raises and extensions and not suggesting we bring back CCS because it was his team and ND was hampered by Covid so it shouldn’t count. If you are subject to praise for success then you certainly should be open to criticism for not demonstrating a single shred of improvement in any facet.

That may have happened in our history so, despite people wanting to glorify him Brad was right in saying it was hard to judge anything based on last year.

Well done sir, but is that tea?

Ted Lasso when asked how he takes his tea:

"Well, usually I take it right back to the counter, because someone's made a horrible mistake."

Just curious what is your benchmark for success this year? As you say it’s all about wins and loses so how many games does he need to win for his second year to be a success…in one word please.

6

So, if we win 5 games having beaten NC State, UF and BYU it wouldn't be a Leavitt successful year showing progress?

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
