Following the conclusion of the 2020 season, wide receivers...

Looks like both downgraded. Grass is not always greener on the other side.

St. Felix gets to play in his hometown, he is STILL on a G6 team and gets to play the game he loves. Horne gets to work with Kerwin Bell again and should get an opportunity to show off his skills. He can eventually take the grad transfer route to a P5 school. Let these guys be happy in their new transition in life. I appreciate what both did for this team.

I wonder how much of Kerwin Bell’s offense scheme for us was based off of What Strong wanted to see

Probably pretty close to none of it, one cannot be both completely disengaged from the program and a micromanager of the part of the team you have the least amount of interest in.

Good for them.  Horne is the small fast type of receiver that Bell seems to prefer.

I will miss both. St. Felix had flashes where he used his speed and looked like he could be dominant at some point. Horne had amazing return skills that seemed to declined after injury. The GT game was he breakout party and was my favorite game that wasn't from the CJL Godfather days.

Best of luck to both them. They both contributed during a period when we needed something to cheer for. I hope they do well, but if we play them they are going down.

Great hire for Western Carolina. Wish USF would have gone down this road with Kerwin. Hopefully our current HC rights the mess Strong left him.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
