Rashun is from Georgia .... but I actually thought he'd be gone before this year for more playing time.

Yes and he was an erratic player here. Some games he would look good and others just not good at all. I think he would benefit more in a lower league where he can get more playing time and develop his game. Wasn’t surprised by his move, time is running out on him.

Always thought he brought energy when he came in and was fairly aggressive on the boards ..... Hope he lands somewhere that'll better suit him.

1000 transfers in portal right now. USF should get some good options.

No time like the present to start this rebuild. Idk if he’s staying or going, but at least he hasn’t put his house on the market.... yet

Its likely that we will have a another rebuild after next season once Gregory eventually gets fired for performance. While Patrick is a nice get, as a D2 player he is at best Justin Brown, and we are going to need significantly better recruits that this. Plus Gregory still has to find a way to bolt it all together (which he failed to do last year with his more talented new/returning pieces) and he still has to find a way to install a competent half court offense, which he hasn't done in 4 years.

This is Strong 2019 all over again and Kelly is just delaying the inevitable.

We need to get the recruiting started. I hope we aren’t running an intermural squad out there next season

Yeah facts can be inconvenient and not learning from prior failures isn't fun either. At the rate Gregory is going, he is going to leave the program in worse shape than he found it, and I didn't think that would be possible! I think Kelly likes watching replays of the Hindenburg disaster in his spare time.

Yes they can be ... like the fact that there was nothing wrong with our "half court offense" when he actually had an option in it ..... and the fact that he has 1 of 3 winning seasons in the last 18 seasons after only 1 year no less ..... we could go on with the "inconvenient facts" but why bother

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
