Very proud of the ladies and CJF!  What an exciting game to watch!

Jenkins and Carter for State were handfuls the entire game but the defense rose to the occasion when it counted.

This should do wonders for their confidence moving into conference play.

Yes, we’re good on D. Neither one shoots 3’s like we do. How many MSU points were scored on their 35 or so free throws?

MSU was 21-34 from the line. We were 15-21

Luckily not as many as they should have made. Can't teach 6'6 and 6'5. I looked at their roster online. My goodness they are big.

Yea, was thinking about that while watching. Wish we could have pulled off the W last December out here in the desert. With UCONN out of the conference our patch to the conference championship should be clear this season.

Last season Schaefer was the coach for them. he left to go to texas so they have a new coach which i believe played a role in the outcome this year as they new coach was hired in april and they havent had a close game all season as their other 2 games were against nobodies and they won both those game by 40+.

This team is so fun to watch. I am thankful for ESPN+. Should be a fun season.
