I will be shocked if McCloud does not get the start and plays the majority of this game.

He is the best of the bunch right now but like everyone else I would love to see Cade for more than a couple of series to see if he can get in a rhythm.

Same. I want to see him get a full half at some point this year. I suspect he lost some practice time when he was down so he did not look sharp in the few passes he threw last week.

I still think CJS is biased toward McCloud after coaching his brother.

He is the best of the bunch right now however he has a low ceiling.  There could be another reason for him not giving Fortin a chance.

Bottom line... can’t keep splitting the snaps at practice between the QBs. Somebody has to get the majority of the snaps for us to get cohesive.

Right now based on what we have seen McCloud is the best we have now.

I'd like to see McCloud start vs ECU and Fortin get the second half.

Marsh was several times just tossing the ball up for grabs...needs to only play mop up duty or late in blowouts only also maybe the other freshman can get some snaps late in games.

I would start Cade Fortin next week. USF's QB situation is getting embarrassing and McCloud isn't near where he needs to be to play right now in his sophomore season. So start with Cade Fortin for 1 half, then let Johnson in for a half if Cade can't do anything.

IMO we can always go back to McCloud because he is the only known right now. He's not the worst, but we need more. So just check the other two for ECU. Marsh is not ready at all.

Johnson - one year stop gap.  Need to develop someone else so unless he is clearly better, he shouldn't play.

Marsh - I'll say it again, he has the best arm talent on the team.  Worth giving another shot or 2.  If he pans out, you have a starter for 4 years.  Not ready to give up on, based on a ridiculously small sample size (21 passes).

McCloud - A decent option, if you want to go that route.  You know what you're getting.  He's actually completing 60 percent of passes which is pretty good.  Mediocre arm strength but not as terrible as some think.  He can get the ball down the field.

Fortin - To be determined.  Warrants another look.  Did nothing in his limited time, missed easy throws in an extremely small sample size.  Deserves another look.

I know some want to go with one guy, but I would be OK with having a 3 headed combo of Fortin, McCloud, and Marsh for another game or two.  I think McCloud will eventually be the guy, but I would like to see a little more of Fortin and Marsh first, against a lower level team like ECU.

4 QBs, 3 games. Yep, a small sample size I guess except for McCloud who was here last year.

When we get a QB who is fast, throws decent (not perfect), and has scrambling ability our problems with be solved.

Yes!  It's just that easy.

Isn't it interesting that CCS actually had things in this condition on purpose?

Why would you disagree with that??

Him disagreeing with me? Or, you think I'm disagreeing with him? Obviously, I had an opinion via my content/thoughts and Nova disagreed So...I invoked the patriotic response( invoke warm and fuzzy) to show Nova that I wasnt disagreeable to his disagreement. Actually, I was just screwin around...But, it's nice to hear from you..😼
