I like the direction, but I wish we saw this kind of recruiting activity with offensive linemen too....

Thought I had heard something about that being his policy but didn't know if it had been confirmed ...

Thanks. Hopefully it's not a philosophy easier to pull off at somewhere like Clemson than here. It does bring back memories of Skip doing that to a qb, although I agreed with why he thought he had to do it, and it came back to bite us in the butt a bit.

By the the time Carnes turned into a functioning QB after transferring to Northern Iowa, QF was here. I don't think him coming here instead of Gunsby would have made any tangible difference.

It’s the other players we lost out on because of it like Ace Sanders. Pulling Cranes’ scholarship closed a door at one of the best programs in the state until Willie came.
