So sorry to see this.  I will feel awful if we have seen Blake for the last time on the field.  I appreciate everything he has done for this team.  He has acquitted himself well as a QB and representative of the University.  I wish him only the best in all his future endeavors.

I really don’t believe he is good enough to play at any level after college.  He needs to put that liberal arts degree from ASU to work and do whatever you do with a degree like that.

Well he won 7 games here. Better than Bk and CO.

Throws a beautiful ball.

Surgery tells me it is worse than just an ankle sprain.

From what I heard there are bone chips in the ankle that must be removed.

That stinks for him, sorry to hear it.....but he still has a beautiful wife, so there is that.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."
