I loved the offense the Willie had here, but the stars aligned just right for CWT with Flowers, Mack, and Adams, along with Coach Reeves, TJ Weist, Joe Kinnan all here at the same time. Not sure he can recreate that again. Even if Willie was here in 2017 with the GCO, it might not have been the same without Mack and Adams.

Yes and definitely not, he was fortuitous and is a better coach than ccs but not by much.

True. But if the thread were "Would you bring Leavitt back" I guarantee "the past is the past" would be drowned out by emphatic support for CJL's return.

if u don't like Taggs, cool. but USF fans who yearn for CJL but don't want Taggs cuz "the past" are just making excuses. not saying this is u, but there are tons of USF fans who never got over CJL & would bring all 70 years of him back but couldn't care less about Taggart.
