If we look worse than Tech on offense we're in SERIOUS trouble this season. Both teams are breaking in new systems but Tech is transitioning into the modern offensive world from the triple option. If we don't look better than a team that certainly has major personnel issues then it may be time to start worrying about Bell.....

Yeah if we continue to look like garbage we are in for a very very long season. At the very min we will see a switch to McCloud and that might help with the defense having to account for him taking off and running. It is only week two but it is a pivotal game for season. Blake May have been a runner in highschool but that ship has sailed.

If we don't look better than a team that certainly has major personnel issues then it may be time to start worrying about Bell..... They are phasing that option out. They still run it occasionally, along with read options. Designed roll outs on passing plays. Averaged 3.5 Yard per Carry against Clemson, witch I guess isn't terrible considering the opponent. They don't look like much of a threat at all in the passing game, but then again, neither do we. I'd say we didn't look better than GT, or anybody else for that matter in week one. How many teams didn't cross mid-field for the first 57 minutes of the game? I doubt there's anybody other than us. Bell has to come up with something where the ball is out of Blake's hand a little faster until the OL improves. That was my worry all along, that the OL wouldn't hold up on these slow developing plays. There's no way we will be as bad as we were in week 1, but I'm still expecting something ugly, and a likely loss at GT. There was just too much wrong against Wisconsin to expect everything to be fixed in one week. This one looks a lot more winnable, but a double digit loss wouldn't shock me in the least.
