Transfer Ryan Thaxton OLB/DL

It appears we may have another transfer. I don't see anything reported but this was posted on his Instagram.

I think this young man has grown a lot over the last 2 years and He will be a valuable and asset to the USF football team and community.  Im happy that he has chosen CCS as a mentor for the rest of his college career.

Do I have the right Ryan Thaxton? From an October 2018 article ...

The second-year defensive lineman was dismissed from the football team a week after his July 15 arrest. Thaxton, a native of Alexandria, Virginia, did not play during his freshman year.

The domestic violence charge was ultimately dropped because of insufficient evidence. Not a good look for Mr. Thaxton but, hopefully, he has learned his lesson and will embrace the second chance he is receiving. I imagine he will be on the shortest of leashes.

he has all the talent to be a star on this team, hope it works out! His skill set is amazing...

What he did to his girl my girl did to me 3 times this year...minus the carrying part lol Im not justifying his actions, but he didnt hit her in the report. There were no injuries reported. And the charges are getting dropped.

In this day and age at a University that behavior just isn't tolerated. Again, I hope he is 100% on the straight and narrow and makes the most of his second chance.
