I looked up his bio. He did play 1 year at the juco. I know players have to sit out a year, but if they go to a juco will that count as a year they sit out? If that's the case then I think buddy is eligible to play this year.

Thats what we are wondering. But i think he did a year at Tenn so combined with a year at Juco, plus a few summer classes he should have enough 4 an associates. But one would think that a year removed from getting kicked off the team should be good enough.

I'm not great with the specifics on this, but the sitting rule and the 4-2-4 should both be in play here. 

1) He has to sit out a year because he transferred from a FBS school. He should be cleared on that one.

2) Used to be, if I remember correctly, when you go from a 4 year school, to a 2 year, to a 4 year, you have to have that AA done before you're cleared for anything. So he could be in Tampa, but they won't even add him to the roster until he's got the degree and we don't know where he stands on that. The math says he should be able to get the AA pretty easily between the two schools, but you never know.

And there you have it...Nathan Bond reported he will be on campus...Charlie and staff have added a ton of depth...
