Because he never took conditioning seriously and was often on the sideline gassed when he did get consistent carries.  Not really a mystery at all....

Ford's only loss was by TKO. The guy he's fighting DID NOT get knocked out by the guy who beat Ford - he lost by unanimous decision. Ford could potentially lose this fight.

Ford’s a 32 year old boxer with marginally more experience than none. He could potentially lose every fight.

Thought Mike was a more than decent running back and I liked him as a player.  From what I heard, though, it was easier for him to find holes in the defense than classes or his driver's license.

😂...somehow I ended up as a business professor. Those college majors can sometimes do funny things.
