We're going to win the conference tournament...

As long as you don't put a year next to that statement, I agree.

I was waiting to see this game before I actually went it.  But I think they'll win the tournament this season.  People thought I was crazy when I said we'd get 17 this season... honestly I thought 20 but mellowed down my expectations.  It has some to do with the players... but mostly the coach.  I'm not buying this team can't or wont win it.  So while I understand where you're coming from... sit back and watch how right I am.  :1398_metal_tone4:

I was high on this team from the early going, inviting people to pay attention as this was a change and a good core to build on.  I based a lot of that on Brown and Collins plus the size and length added via Durr, Kiir, Maricevic & Yetna.  Combine that with defenisve intensity and all out effort and you have a chance.   I never went as far as to predict a number of wins.  Rideau has been far more than expected.

@Calibull takes it even step further with a conference crown.  I just want to be remembered as an early promoter of 18-19 Bulls hoops, not the bold one as Cali will be known.  :)

I think we have a conference win in us, I'd be totally delighted with two.  This team has already exceeded expectations.  The rest is just "gravy".  I look forward to our continued growth and hopefully into a postseason tournament.  I am sure CBG is keeping them hungry for more success!

I have to admit though, with each passing game I become more and more tempted to go to Memphis.

Went to my first tourney last year at Amway and am also getting a little urge to start checking flights ..... although with my luck, I'd be sitting somewhere near the douchebag loser Tiger fan had right in front of me yesterday.

What came to mind for me immediately was the NCAA tournament game, going into the locker room at halftime up on Arizona with Dobras, Shahid, et al.....  but that was not in person.  And second half, far worse.  😪

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
