But “recruiting has sucked under CCS.” Yeah I never bought that one.  Sometimes things really do take time and if he’s bringing in this good of recruits then I’m really excited to see next season, especially with a new OC.

I can't dog Strong on recruiting we have seen this season some great freshmen like Horne, Ford, Bell...if Strong gets a solid OC and let's him do his thing and keeps bringing in solid players I think we can do well despite Strong being a avg at best in game coach.

I’ve never faulted Strong in recruiting. That’s one of his positives. I just don’t want to see sloppy play, bad execution, and dumb penalties on the field, like we’ve seen for the last two years.

It's funny how the guys named in this thread as being standouts are undersized. Hmm.

 

I alao don't see any 4 or 5 stars among our recruits. I recall people predicting CCS to bring in said 4 and 5 star players. I'm still waiting.

My non expert analysis tells me that we are loading up on O linemen, and apparently quality ones. I would like to see a middle linebacker. Hopefully, theres a grad transfer in the works.
