Why don't we wait and see what happens when we don't have as many freshmen and first time starters playing before we just assume we will go 4-8 shall we?

Yep. Since it was one of the strongest arguments for earlier than typical action it makes you wonder why someone with knowledge didn’t come forward with it before it grew into a frenzy. It’s kind of hard to put the genie back into the bottle.

Once the narrative gets set, it's virtually impossible to change, especially when that narrative was a fiction we wanted to be true. That alleged buy out made it a no-brainer to get rid of them.

We should have known it was too good to be true.

Oh well, fool me once...

I guess I better learn to love boring close wins against teams we out talent.

You're correct. 4-8 is probably way too optimistic.

2-10

I'll take that action, how much? I'll say we are closer to 10-2 than 2-10. If you want we can just say over/under 6 wins. Don't want to put money on it? How about 1000 points, to be donated to Athletic department via the TBP member shop?

The 20 week thing may be accurate.  The definition of what his base salary is seems to be the unknown.

Are they still exploring cutting Chuckles loose or has that ship sailed?

Sounds like he’s coming back with some reshuffling of assistants.

Yeah, I'm not really sure the "letting Charlie go" option was ever considered. Which I think is the right call, but I am in the minority there.

I doubt it was also and also doubt you're in the minority. Squeaky wheels get the most attention but doesn't mean they're the majority ...

No i'm pro-CCS. I think Gilbert is the main person everybody is in with consensus of wanting fired.

Me, too.  But Charlie disappointed me last Friday.  I think when we are in "what have we got to lose" mode, we should be taking every opportunity to get the W.  I have to think those were HC decisions.  (kneeling at end of half, punting on 4th and 1 in the second half, etc.)

It's freaking Orlando in our house.  Who has the most points at :00 is all that matters.
