He was a head coach at a P5 school with a decent football history. Texas Tech gave him 5 years b4 they fired him. Now after all his achievements, we want to bring him and his success on board to our coaching staff.....didnt he lose to a Charlie strong coached team. How about we replace Charlie Strong with him altogether. I

I know not sure why some want him as head coach...looks worse than Strong.

Might be a good OC though.

If Kliff decides to go the OC route, he will get better offers than USF. Heard a rumor that Mack Brown (just hired at UNC) may try and get Kliff as OC.

This is silly season. I am not sure if Bucs HC job is better than USF OC but this guy thinks its possible.

https://bucswire.usatoday.com/2018/11/26/bucs-dirk-koetter-kliff-kingsbury-sean-mcvay-patrick-mahomes-baker-mayfield/

"But while many will be discussing Kingsbury as a potential offensive coordinator at the next level, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers should give him strong consideration for their top job if Dirk Koetter is let go after the 2018 season."

I read this speculation on Twitter, so you know it’s probably true :roflmao: But they were saying that the Bama OC will go to Maryland and Saban will pick up Kliff as the new Bama OC

:roflmao:So he is going to go from P5 head coach to G5 OC???? He will be calling plays if the NFL or the SEC. There's no point in wasting any thought in this.

I would love for it to happen, but its just not in the cards for any G5 team.

He'd consider Head Coach though...
