He started BB over Kean at Texas too? This Blake kid really gets around, someone should tell Maddie.

I meant that he lost at Texas too. Blake didn’t help the team but he didn’t callplays get hit with the ball on a squib kick negate good defensive plays with penalties  or call an offense that any coach with half a brain could defend and he didn’t play last week

I notice that a few of the Strong defenders from previous weeks now seem to be OK with potentially firing him. What about today's game convinced you? Seemed a lot like all the previous games to me. It seems that all your previous reasonings for giving him a third year still apply (inexperience, youth, etc...). Personally, I think his brand is boring, and that can't be good for a program that has struggled to pull in casual fans...

Gilbert and others on the staff proved their incompetence over a full season last year. The fact that they were employed in their current roles prior to today is plenty of reason to question CCS ability to assemble a staff.

Prior to being a USF student, I was a Miami hurricane die hard. I witnessed the Randy Shannon era. This is all too similar.

UCF has Randy in his correct role, we do not

Gator’s contention was B.B. is the single factor that is holding back CCS and that when he abandons him all the ills of the team will heal. I pointed out that BB didn’t play last week and then it wasn’t just B.B. but also CO that are holding Charlie back, so if only our third string QB were in the game all the time then everything will be peachy kean (pun intended).

Didn't read the thread, only going to say Charlie should get a full 3rd season.

My ceiling going into this year was 8 wins. I think the expectations for more considering the talent loss and youth of the team is just fan bias.

I will say there are some concerning trends like the penalties and dropped passes that make me think the staff may be below average in the way techniques are taught or practiced.

It would be interesting to see what the tone here would be with a win on Black Friday...

To me it's another AAC win.  We finish with 8 total wins.  Grand.

A victory on Black Friday would be our best since when? Maybe Notre Dame?

I wonder if it would move the needle on the "Give Charlie another year" train of thought.
